30m length Bridge
Design &Drawings:
The length of the
respective bridges is 30.00Lm. The deck slab is 250mm thick and spans
over 5No. pre-cast reinforced concrete beam girders 15.0Lm long, 1.0m
deep and 450mm wide. The abutments are made up of a frontal wall 600mm
thick and two lateral wing walls separated by a cellotex board filled
expansion joint.
This design for download contains full AutoCAD
working drawings and design for Box Girder Bridge of 2400m in length.
The width of the bridge is 11.00m made up of 8.00m of roadway and 3.00
m. of footway asymmetrically arranged in 1.0 m on a side and 2.0 meters
on the other one. The structure is subdivided in 5 continuous frames,
each approximately 475m in length, separated by special restraints,
which allow the longitudinal displacements but guarantee the flexural
continuity. The structure of the bridge consists of a prestressed
concrete box girder. All drawings shown are standard drawings and
are downloadable DWG file that can be used and modified in AutoCAD to
suit your project.
Box Girder Abutment
Drawings: The abutments are of the total earth retaining
type and have a front face, on which are located the steel-teflon
bearings supports, and two lateral walls which extend towards the rear
of the abutment with two ears. The front face and the lateral walls are
self-bearing, with cantilever functioning with anchorage on a single
raft foundation.

Box Girder Decks Detailed Drawings:
The deck is completed by two reinforced
concrete kerbs, located at the edges of the roadway, and two reinforced
concrete parapets 1.00 m high above road level. In the 95m spans,
transverse stiffening diaphragms of the box girder are planned at midspan.

The following sample
engineering design calculations shows great deal of time expended by
some of our engineers on some selected project. However, if you desire
additional information for free, please do not hesitate to call or
e-mail us. We have over two hundred manual design calculations and
samples, but due to popular demand we make available for download only
bridge design, considering the expertise demanded. Designs are produced
by the engineer and the advent of computers has not come to replace the
process of design. The engineer as the name implies uses his ingenuity
in the design process. Calculations do not
form part of many contract agreement. The drawings, not only are
essential, but are the means by which structures are erected. Drawings
are the eyes of engineers and architects.
Spread Sheet for
Bridge Design: Interesting manual and
excel templates are provided for downloads, excel is without doubt one
of the most common powerful spreadsheet application and arguably one of
the best. A good download for easy and quick design of bridges. This
excel template is not locked and can be edited as you like.
Six Manual Bridge Designs: Six different detailed
bridge design in word documents of reinforced concrete bridges.
sample design for a pedestrians bridge, substructure designs and full
detailed design of a 20m I-beam bridge. A must download.
Typical Box Girder
Bridge Design Calculations: Over two hundred(200) pages of manual design
calculation for a box girder bridge! All in word documents format. The
box girder has a depth varying from 5.50 m at the piers in water to 2.85
m in the middle of the 95‑m spans. Included as a bonus is a full
detailed Bill of Quantities for the bridge.
